Dr. Travis Dockery, D.C.
Dr. Dockery was raised in Romulus, Michigan, and enjoyed playing soccer and maintaining an active lifestyle while growing up. He graduated from Romulus High School with academic honors in addition to several sports awards. He attended Eastern Michigan University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Magna Cum Laude honors.
Dr. Dockery wanted to help people in healthcare but was unsure where to make his impact. One day while working out, he began experiencing debilitating headaches. He tried rest, medication, even a trip to urgent care where they performed a barrage of tests and imaging with no solutions for the pain. Ultimately he sought out a chiropractor who pointed to the spine as the source of headaches. The headaches disappeared after the first treatment.
The natural, non-invasive, hands-on healing approach that the chiropractor offered was precisely the type of intervention he was looking for. Feeling inspired, Dr. Dockery went on to graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
After finishing his course work and requirements, Dr. Dockery practiced in South Carolina for a year before moving back to Michigan and his family. After practicing as an associate for several years, he moved to Livonia to open Life in Motion Chiropractic.
Dr. Dockery is up to date on the latest advancements in chiropractic healthcare with a focus on rehabilitative exercises. He is eager to share this knowledge with his local community and help his patients get well without the use of drugs or surgery.

Glenna, Chiropractic Assistant
Glenna has over 15 years of experience working in chiropractic clinics. She can be found around the office, helping patients with therapies, answering the phones, or on the phone with insurance companies.
Glenna utilizes chiropractic care herself to help with headaches and shoulder pain she’ll develop intermittently. She even brought her daughter in to see a chiropractor at 3-months old. Her daughter was having problems with hip mobility and Glenna was afraid it’d affect her ability to walk. Chiropractic care helped improve her daughter’s hip range of motion, and both she and her daughter have undergone regular chiropractic care since.
When she isn’t in the office, she can be found spending time with her family. She also enjoys fishing, playing pool, or playing video games.
Emily, Chiropractic Assistant
Emily is our newest addition to the office. She can be found around the office greeting patients, making appointments, or helping with x-rays or other therapies.
Emily’s first experience was after a severe car accident. She employed adjustments to help with the ensuing neck pain and migraines. She still utilizes regular care to help improve her spinal mobility and keep her migraines at bay.
Outside of the office, Emily is spending time with her husband and son. She is an avid baker. She also loves to read and write, even having a few publications herself.
