Dr. Travis Dockery, D.C.

Dr. Dockery was raised in Romulus, Michigan, and enjoyed playing soccer and staying active. He graduated from Romulus High School with academic honors and several sports awards. He attended Eastern Michigan University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Magna Cum Laude honors.
Dr. Dockery wanted to help people in healthcare but was unsure where to make his impact. One day, while working out, he began experiencing debilitating headaches. He tried rest, medication, and even a trip to urgent care, where they performed a barrage of tests and imaging with no solutions for the pain. Ultimately, he sought out a chiropractor, who pointed to the spine as the source of his headaches. The headaches disappeared after the first treatment.
The chiropractor’s natural, noninvasive, hands-on healing approach was precisely the type of intervention he was looking for. Feeling inspired, Dr. Dockery graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.
After finishing his coursework and requirements, Dr. Dockery practiced in South Carolina for a year before moving back to Michigan with his family. After practicing as an associate for several years, he moved to Livonia to open Life in Motion Chiropractic.
Dr. Dockery is up to date on the latest advancements in chiropractic healthcare, with a focus on rehabilitative exercises. He is eager to share this knowledge with his local community and help his patients recover without drugs or surgery.

Glenna, Chiropractic Assistant

Glenna has over 15 years of experience working in chiropractic clinics. She can be found around the office, helping patients with therapies, answering the phones, or talking with insurance companies.
Glenna utilizes chiropractic care herself to help with headaches and shoulder pain she’ll develop intermittently. She even brought her daughter in to see a chiropractor at 3 months old. Her daughter was having problems with hip mobility, and Glenna was afraid it’d affect her ability to walk. Chiropractic care improved her daughter’s hip range of motion, and both she and her daughter have continued with regular chiropractic care since.
When she isn’t in the office, she spends time with her family. She also enjoys fishing, playing pool, and playing video games.
